A job at the prestigious investment firm Redburn & Hammer was something most recent college graduates could only dream of. Even at a very junior position you had an amazing starting salary, a company car and the opportunity to earn even more in bonuses.
But the recruitment process was intense. Not only would would the HR department subject you to all sorts of tests, including a thorough medical examination, in the last step of the process you’d have a personal interview with the managing partner, Ike Hammer. To even be considered for a job, you’d have to show Mr Hammer that you were willing to do anything to earn a spot on the team.
